Everyone was really friendly and helpful, and as an introvert, I felt the volunteers struck a perfect balance between approaching us when we needed help, and leaving us to get on with games ourselves when we didn’t. The layout was incredibly clear too.
Brilliant fun, family-friendly event – we could happily have spent all day here with our 4, 7 and 8 year-olds!

Herefordshire Games Con was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our hobbies with like-minded people, and learn some new things.
Highlight of the gaming year
If you were to ask if this is bigger and better than UKGE or Essen, and they tell you yes… It’s probably a Vortox game or you’re drunk.
It is however a fantastic free event, that exceeds all expectations for a relatively quiet city, and all done for the benefit of charity.
One of the friendliest and most inclusive games conventions around – and its free!
So good that even a reluctant teenager admitted to enjoying her time at the convention 🙂

FUN, FANTASTIC, INCLUSIVE
How inclusive the event was. It really was for everyone and I felt very welcome and looked after.
