Peter (he/him)

Bio:
I joined in 2019, and played my first TTRPG in February 2020. Played around 20-30 something systems in two years!
I just like dice but end up with responsibility of being the GM most the time. But in all honesty HB is a place I look forward to going to each time.
Favourite genres:
That game/system I haven’t played yet.

Will (he/him) [HB Treasurer]
Shop and Games Teacher
Bio
I’ve been gaming since the early days of Warhammer 40k and Blood Bowl, which explains why my natural habitat is a room filled with the smell of primer and the sight of unpainted plastic. My passions include painting miniatures (slowly) and collecting them (quickly…too quickly). As your Treasurer, I promise to be far more responsible with the club’s budget than I am with my own; while the club’s books are perfectly balanced, my home’s foundations are currently being tested by the sheer weight of “All-In” Kickstarter pledges. When I’m not navigating the narrow mountain passes of Austria, Switzerland, and Italy during summer road trips, I’m usually trying to find one more square inch of shelf space for a new board game. I am a devotee of anything Marvel and a newly converted Warlock in my first D&D campaign, a role I love because it justifies my habit of making high-stakes deals for shiny rewards.
Favourite Games
The “Plastic Addict” Collection — Oathsworn, Foundations of Rome, Zombicide, Cthulhu: Death May Die, Tidal Blades, Tanares, Aldarra, Blood Rose Wars, Massive Darkness
The Marvel Vault — Marvel United, Marvel Champions, Marvel Dice Throne, Marvel Zombies (basically, if it has a cape, I own it or its coming via kickstarter)
The Strategy Shelf — Heat: Pedal to the Metal, Nemesis: Retaliation, Castles of Burgundy, Wroth
The Greats — Anything Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or involving a d20 and a suspicious patron
Notes
Please do not show me any new crowdfunding links during club hours; I have the willpower of a wet paper towel. My current painting backlog is estimated to be completed by the year 2084, but I am still accepting “just one more” game if it comes with a cool dragon or a superhero. If I’m late to a session, I’m likely stuck in a basement-sized game of Tetris trying to reach the door.
