Miah’s story
I wanted to fill this glass head with boardgame pieces as I hoped it would help to raise money and awareness to help those who also experience anxiety.
It combines 2 of my favourite hobbies, namely crafting and playing boardgames with my family which helps with my anxiety.
It allows me to get lost into the theme of the game and the character that I am playing: whilst crafting allows me to express my emotions in a creative way.
One of my favourite games is Coraquest as some of my drawings were chosen for the game and it is lovely to see my name on the box.
I find it hard to explain my anxiety to others and being creative or playing boardgames is a form of mindfulness that enables me to cope with my anxiety.
