Logistics, Parking, accessibility venues and Fire Limits.

As a free event, there are lots of compromises we have to make (like all events), we are an inclusive event as we try to welcome and support everyone. We do not use the term accessible for this event as beyond wheel chair access there is so much more we’d want to do Sign language, hearing aid loops etc etc.

Parking:
There is limited free parking at the event, – better in the evening / sunday.

There is some free on street parkign nearby- check signs.

Fire Limit:
The Core has a fire limit for safety, if we reach this limit, we will stop accepting new guests and redirect to the secondary venue or outside gaming spaces.
We have not reached this limit before and we’ve moved more gaming out of the main venue into the secondary venue.
We have not found a way to fairly ‘ticket’ a free event to manage numbers without adding lots of barriers.
Accessibility:
We’ve updated our website. The Core is flat and we have accessible tables but the toilets are not accessible.
We have secured accessible toilets opposite in Cup Ceramics- Open to 10pm (so early than closing time)
Accessible toilets are available at the second venue (10pm) or the local Petrol station. 11pm

(We have hired ‘accessible’ portaloos before but they ‘aren’t great’)
Two designated disabled parking bays at each venue

Secondary Venue:
Scouts Corner
Eign Road, Hereford,HR12RX
